Wire feeding is known as the most precise method to add small quantities of deoxidants and alloys into the melt. With over 130 units supplied in recent decades, INTECO’s engineers possess extensive knowledge of the challenges and pitfalls associated with installing wire feeding systems in brownfield environments. Consequently, special attention is given to designing the entire wire guiding system from the coil storage to the machine as well as from the machine to the ladle. Only a properly engineered complete system guarantees trouble-free and reliable operation.

INTECO’s wire feeding machines are available with 2, 4, or 6 strands. These machines can feed wires with diameters between 9 and 18mm at a maximum feed rate of 300m/min. Precise length measurement and wire end detection are additional features of our machines.
